Occasionally, Allworx phones require an update but when they reboot, they do not reboot to a fully operational state. A typical message on the LCD display will say something like,
"Configuring Network. No Ethernet Link. Init/Load failed."
If this is the case, you will need to reboot your phone. Pressing the "Reboot" button on the phone is not enough. You will need to "hard" reboot the phone.
Step 2: If all you have are network cables, unplug the one that goes to the wall (not to your computer if you have two). Each cable port on the back of the phone is labeled. Unplug the one labeled "Network."
